Chalet Lauda...
A real sanctuary in the heart of the mountains, Chalet Lauda has your wellbeing at heart, with a sauna, a Nordic bath and a gym.
The chalet sits in a small, secluded hamlet just 2.1km from Saint-Nicolas de Véroce. This traditional village has its own ski area as well as several shops and restaurants. One of these, La Table d'Armante, is recommended by the Michelin Guide. The popular spa resort of Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains is just a 10km drive.
With access to 445km of slopes in the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, you'll never be short of places to explore. Outside the winter season, the many marked trails appeal to hikers and mountain bikers, particularly in the Contamines-Montjoie nature reserve.
The Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce tourist office has been awarded the “Accueil Vélo” label for the services it offers to cyclists.
About the property…
Chalet Lauda can accommodate up to 14 guests (8 adults max) on four floors in six en-suite bedrooms. A lift connects all the floors.
The lower floor is underground and has a double garage, a ski room with a heated boot dryer and a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The ground floor is home to the sauna, gym and four bedrooms. There are three double bedrooms, all with a desk and access to a balcony, as well as a bunk room for four with two sets of bunk beds. Each bedroom has an en-suite shower or bathroom with a toilet, and there is an additional separate toilet. Two of the bedrooms open onto a terrace, where the guests can relax in the Nordic bath with mountain views.
On the first floor, there are two living rooms. The first, which is flooded with natural light from the glass doors onto the terrace, has two sofas and a desk. The second has two impressive U-shaped sofas in front of the fireplace and television, creating a more relaxed atmosphere. There are more sofas on the terrace, where you can sit and soak up the views.
The large, fully equipped kitchen, which overlooks the dining table, has a central island with an induction hob, and a door to a second balcony. There is also a bedroom on this floor with two bunk beds, a sofa and TV, as well as a shower room and toilet, making it a perfect refuge for children.
The top floor is a spacious mezzanine converted into a superb master suite. It has a large double bed with a dressing room, television, desk and a bathroom with a bath, shower, and toilet. This bright room, which overlooks the living rooms, has large windows and access to balconies on two sides.

Saint-Nicolas de Véroce is part of the resort of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains.
Saint-Gervais, at the foot of Mont Blanc between Megève and Chamonix, is a traditional village combining heritage, nature, and wellness. Renowned for its thermal baths fed by soothing natural springs, it attracts families and guests seeking relaxation. Its lively centre, local shops, and Belle Époque architecture make it a charming destination, perfect for discovering the Mont-Blanc region.
In winter, skiers of all ages and abilities can enjoy the varied slopes in the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, which offers 400km of runs across Megève, Combloux, Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce and Les Contamines. The Mont-Blanc glaciers provide a breathtaking backdrop, and experienced skiers can try the legendary Vallée Blanche descent from Chamonix. Other activities to try include snowshoeing, sledding, ice skating, and high-altitude hikes.
During the rest of the year, visitors flock to Saint-Gervais for its remarkable natural environment. Lake Passy, just a few minutes away, offers swimming, paddleboarding, and pedal boating. The Mont-Blanc Multipass provides reduced price access to summer lifts and activities in the area. Chalet Lauda is a high-end retreat where up to 14 guests (8 adults max) can get together and enjoy the mountains. Spread over several floors, which are all connected by a lift, it offers spa facilities, several balconies and large windows overlooking the Alps.
On the ground floor, guests can work out in the gym, or relax in the sauna and outdoor Nordic bath. Two sitting rooms mean you can all get together or meet in smaller groups to enjoy lively conversations by the fire or watch television.
The kitchen is organised around its central island and overlooks the dining area.
The bedrooms all have en-suite bath or shower rooms, guaranteeing comfort and privacy. Some open onto a balcony, where you can enjoy coffee with views of the peaks, and there are two bunk rooms which will be appreciated by younger guests.
The luxurious master suite on the mezzanine floor has two balconies, offering a choice of view. There's also a full bathroom and a dressing room, as well as a TV and desk.

Our family is very fond of the Alps. We love the authenticity of mountain villages and that rare luxury: silence in the presence of the peaks.
So it was only natural that we designed and built Chalet Lauda in the mountains of Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce, with a view of Mont Blanc.
Chalet Lauda is more than just a chalet – it's a story. A story of encounters, of passing seasons, of landscapes that catch the eye and calm the mind.
A story led by the desire to create a place where luxury is not displayed, but felt – in the space, the light, the quality of the materials and the care given to every detail.
Designed as a family home in the mountains, Chalet Lauda combines natural materials, generous spaces and exceptional finishes. It welcomes its guests with six en-suite bedrooms, two living rooms where you can share time together, a large fully equipped kitchen and a dining table, as well as outdoor spaces created to fully embrace living at altitude: a panoramic balcony, a sun-drenched terrace, a hot tub and a sauna, all with views of the peaks.
Less than five minutes by car from the heart of the village and the departure point for the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area (400km of pistes), the chalet offers a rare balance: the proximity of alpine energy and the privilege of absolute tranquillity, with the Mont-Blanc massif as a wonderful backdrop.
